A longer stay is when downtown really pays off. The beach is 2 to 3 minutes away on foot, Times Square and the restaurants on Old San Carlos Boulevard are a short walk, and the free parking space means you can leave the car parked for days. Free bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and a wagon make every day easy.

Which place suits a long stay

The Octopus Loft is a favorite with snowbirds and couples: a top-floor one-bedroom with a full kitchen and a large private deck. The Turtle Suite has a king bed, a kitchenette and a desk for remote work. The Main House gives families or two couples two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a full kitchen and a workspace.
